“Winter Depression”
    Feature Film Script

Eirik (36) is depressed. Winter depressed. Except it’s worse this year. He’s being followed by a goth like depression who knows him too well and is creating gentle, total chaos in his already strained depressing existence. In the course of one difficult day, Eirik loses his job, his wife leaves with their baby to stay at her mothers and he over eats and begins digitally gambling. Can Eirik fight back and get his unwanted visitor out of the house? Or will all the powerful depression win and empty Eirik’s jar of life completely? The fight is on.

Directors Note:

Winter depression is a terrifying comedy and deals with depression in almost a thriller like manner. Very recognisable darkness descends on Eirik’s life and a colossal battle of wills is unleashed. This film is a very honest exploration off the inner and outer workings of a very ordinary Norwegian man. The winter is long and brutal.

Actors:

Elias holmen Sørensen

Henrik Eilif Borge

“The Argument”
    Feature Film Script

Irish Will (32) unexpectedly asks Spanish Carmen (30) to marry him. She refuses, and a twenty four hour foundational argument ensues. What is a couple? The destination or the process? Struggling writer Will is philosophical, whilst hard core aid worker Carmen cannot separate the problems of the world from her own domestic happiness. Will they make it?

Or is this the end?

If you are a couple, you may recognise all of this. If you are not, this might seem stressful.

Directors Note:

I’ve been a couple for thirty years. Yet I still distinctly remember the hardest part of my life was coupling. It took years and whole slices of seasons. Arguments rained on us, then stopped, then started again. Logic was rejected constantly in favour off instinct. We didn’t know it at the time, but we were building an ark, which we are still travelling in.

“The Argument” is an all stake thriller about Will and Gloria.

“Last Night on earth”
    Feature Film Script

Rakesh Singh (40’s), a stranded merchant sailor will have his brain tumour removed tomorrow morning.

But his chances of survival are low (20% or less).

His captain & crew have paid for him to spend his LAST NIGHT ON EARTH in the presidential suite of the Grand hotel, Oslo.

They have also paid for a high class call girl.

Because Rakesh Singh has a very unusual request.

In order to reach the afterlife, he needs to fall in love.

Actors:

Manish Sharma

Directors Note:

“Last Night on earth” is an extraordinary winter fairytale between the most unlikely and unimaginable  of characters. On the one hand Rakesh is a man who has spent his life isolated at sea, yet wants to talk, engage and charm everyone he meets, whilst Hedda, the high class call girl has been exposed to all the world yet is the most private of people one could possibly meet. This character driven story pitches these two extreme life travellers together and causes them to pause and wonder. This is a story like you’ve never seen before.

Robert Mckee - “Story”

“Through empathy, the linking of ourselves to a fictional human being, we test and stretch our humanity”
